well all things move forward im told, and so far i think it is. for those of you who read my last blog my mum is now out of hospital and her fractured shoulder is on the mend, daughter has got super new job at fantastic riding school about 30 mins from us, wife ok after a bit of a sick day ( think she is allergic to lettuce),boy smashed up 2nd new car !! but hope as he is fully comp we will get some cash ...enough for a pair of roller skates i think, and me ..well as some of you know my back/leg has been playing up since jan this year and a couple of weeks ago it went pop big time , last sat was a very painful day for me, but with my new physio who started to stick needles in me from almost day 1 , things are on the mend. i am now almost ready to return to work !!! i know this sounds limp but i can not wait to return to work as i miss my mates ......big up the lib posse !!!!

well all you bloggers out there im in a better mood now , since i last blogged my daughter has got a super new job , teaching at a riding school to die for . see the set up at ...http://www.callumpark.com/ .
my mum is on the mend and now at home again , and the mrs is feeling much better. on the down side i have sprained my back , some of you know i has a very serious industrial accident a few years ago anyway over the last few weeks it has been getting worse as there is a section i go into sometimes with a very awkward desk arangement, and so on wed night i went to see the quack who said yep you in pain ....yeah i bloody know that !!! so on the pill again ,now seen new osteopathy man ....got a few weeks with him , but caught in time so all WILL be ok .just thinking if i should get parrot and a tricorn hat ? me hearties !!!!

the illness and bad karma

hi all well here i am after a week off from work with flu and a chest infection , went back on monday and it returned with a massive vengence , feel like big pot of poo !! very weak , head like some woodpecker has set up home in there , and left leg aches in calf muscle.
so far this year .. 1.mum fell over and broke shoulder in 4 places...very worrying
...2. son passed test / and wrote car off in snow on thursday ..he ok so not 2 worring
...3 me and mrs/ son/ daughter got flu very bag ( me asthmatic so very worried )
....4 and now to cap off a super week daughter will lose horse riding job at end of month...

what next and pass the knife please , very down at mo will bad luck run end ?

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL THE LEAGUE OF BLOGGERS (you know who you are)
had best new year in 20 years(i dont get out much guv) ,me and the better half went to the best party in the boondocks,had big laugh and lots of champers,big thanks to avenger and her other half who hosted said party and also big it up to all the rest of the revelers especially groovy Glynis ( when you posting the pics on the net ?).
my new year res is to get thinner by 1 1/2 stone !!! to get to Canada in 2008,get a new bedroom and lastly rebuild my back garden into the oasis it is not at the mo due to milli wee damage(see pic).

now back to the real world....work tomorrow (bummer)!!!!!!!

Hi all who read the dude blog, tis the season of party's !!! well this year the karate dude household are off to party land . got 2 parties to trot along to both from loony collages from the land of books (only joking) ,in my last job the staff set up was totally different , all the blokes wanted to do was go to the pub and talk football or the latest conquests !! ahhhh not me at all , so fast forward to new job , and a more nutty,fun and nice mob i could not want for. last job i hated any contact with so called "mates"...... this job as much contact as decently available.

big congrats to the man with the new baby (you know who you are ),and to the lady with the new house who is chuffed to bits with it.

well me and the better half have been on our travels again, she paid for us (for crimbo) to go to the Brussels xmas market in bruges for the weekend. we went via coach then eurotunnel to bruges.long old journey though, we all thought we would be staying over in a hotel in bruges but alas no, shame as i was going to take mrs surfer out on the town. mind you the market was nice and the weather ok , then off to llile in la bell France to get some kip.next day a trip to 2 big hypermarkets to loose some euros(very easy that), then home to blighty.took mon am off work , so i can sort out house mess that delightful kids left us , oh must dash cu all on the next post and please leave a comment if you visit

well the day started ok , then got call from daughter to say mum and dad got burgled last night and dog beaten up!! had worrying time at work until i phoned them. better news dog ok , mum and dad shaken but ok, burgs only got some bits as mum and dad disturbed them in act.thought about that -if burgs wanted to they COULD have hurt parents a lot to get what they wanted , this thought may bug me for a while, but at least they ok........roll on dec 31st and 2007

hi all more ramblings from the darkside, as most of you know me and my better half were lucky enough to go to china on hols , a most interesting place Holmes. mind you my other had passport stolen at the airport as we arrived !! big problem as we were to fly on from Bejing the next day. so many a happy trip to 1 the consulate 2 the security bureau and 4 in every taxi in china (well it felt like it) , and 5 what happened to 3.So after new passport arrived we set off on our travels to the Yantze river on super cruise ship/boat thing to trip up to see the BIG dam , size does matter ...its huge, then on to the famous ghost town of Fendu, just weird, next more cruising down river till nice trip in a San-pan , then night visit to Chonquang where every skyscraper lights up like a big xmas tree ...wow, next a visit to the zoo to see the pandas, all go ahhhh , off next for a plane ride to xi'an where the Teracotta warriors hide out.again WOW , a quick trip next to the wild goose pagoda ,well good brov , then off to do taichi with famous master ( liked that bit).temple of Hun dynasty next and his tomb lots of walking on this one, then plane again back to bejing for Tinamen square,the forbidden city ,summer palace and peking duck (liked that bit too). finally a strollete along the great wall , you know a casual wander up an incline a mountain goat would have trouble negotiating ,mind you the block and tackle came in handy !! then home to blighty 15 days after we left , now we both want a holiday to get over the holiday .... but if you get the chance to go do it.
ps next hols year will be 5 days tenting in the garden !!!!

hi all , not long now till the trip to china , where they have the largest factory for making socks in the world ! we are both ready and eager to start this trip of a lifetime ,so for 15 days we visit the land of the rising sock , my chalange is to find a trinket to bring home without "made in china " on, so today being my day off im sorting out packing etc ready for the off and lo other half gone down with violent vomit bug ! hope that i dont get it on hols. looking foward to trip as we both have wanted to visit china for ages , we get to visit a lot of famous things on our way round .we also hope to pop in to see the shaolin monks you know for a cuppa and a waffle. have brushed up on our mandrin so i can now say hi , well thats all im going to need , im english so i thought every one else speeks it too ! will take loads of pictures and ill blog the best , also pop some video on there too . if in the unlightly event we do not return i leave my blog to the Nando Nutters (you know who you are) to do with as they see fit, delete it i think will be best option !!

oh and for those who asked me about if i knew a certain phrase ... zi nar lee tsur saw ?(where is the toilet)

some weekends you dont need, story so far...daughter left home 3 years ago ,then broke up with boyfriend and lo and behold came home to the fold. only 1 problem...no bed, but thank god for e-bay ,now got a new drawer devan bed ,2nd problem how to dismantle old bed with no mess...oh sod it took hammer to old bed..... 35 mins later we got room for new bed simple!!! so then daughter then brings the infamous Milli dog home to live with us too. so in a week we went from wife with an occasional son popping in for food/money/car lessons whichever to a full 4 up family plus dog. oh yes we love weekends

well here we are monday again and after a full recovery from the dreadded lurgie on thursday my better half got it on sunday !! so all sunday spent as me as nurse ( dont look at all good in nurse uniform) ,spent monday morning with a bunch of old folks locally who do our taichi and was humbled by there enthusism for life, sometimes we forget the simple things in life, then went with my instructor in the late afternoon till 9pm to assist with training the kids and adutls in our karate school , then after that a cup of tea and a reflection on the day ....been a good day

well here i am feeling a bit better after 24 hours of talking to the white bowl , wed 9.30pm felt hot/cold , bed by 10.30 (not like me) thurs came and like a trooper off i went to work, sick there by 8.30,lasted till 10 am at work , went home , slept till 2pm !!! then got up for 1 hour bed again till 6pm !! getting silly now ,bed at 9.30, friday weak but stable , think food poison job....note to self stop eating raw bacon sandwiches. will return to work on thurs as got some time off ...bloody need it too

well sunday was spent at the national comic com up in the smokey city,it started well we got in the car ....thats when it fell apart !! big log jam on the m2 left us about 1 hour adrift so appoliges to fox2 and my mate waiting at victoria for an hour . but got to comic con where i lost big bucks again , mind you got some cracking barguins.not sure how fox2 got on as he left as we arrived .....bloody traffic i get so mad i could crush a tyre wrench.
